Mega Live install on a Terrova or Ulterra

Has anyone tried to install a Mega live transducer on a Terrova?

I have found nothing on the interweb.

I believe Terrova won’t work since there is no extra shaft to work with when it’s stowed. Mr Holst had some insight on another thread.

I’ll qualify this statement by saying I haven’t had a chance to use a “live” setup. But, in my opinion, having the transducer mounted to the trolling motor may not be the best option. You would confined to looking only where the TM is pointed. Personally, I’d want it on an independent pole mount so you could view in all directions. Especially on spot-lock. They actually make remote controlled ones, which I’m sure are “cheap”.
