The lack of showing actual footage of it on the water is an interesting choice. Palaniuk showing actual footage on his Instagram stories, looks much more like lvs32 so a big upgrade from mega live 1. Unless you already have a compatible graph for mega live 2 I’d still be going with a garmin for a dedicated FFS.

It’s almost as good as version 2 of Garmin and Lowrance but have to upgrade your graph in order to use. Maybe version 3 will catch up. About 3 years behind in tech.

I have 3 birds on my boat . Wish I had 3 garmins now . Only real positive I thought was they pre load all the graphs with lake master for all states now and the way point integration .

If they’d make them networkable to helix units they’d sell a ton more …

From videos I have watched, MegaLive2 will not work with Helix. Helix users will need to upgrade to the new XPlore.

Humminbird is many years behind Garmin & Lowrance in terms of FFS R&D, that will keep them in the 3rd spot for many years to come until they figure out a way to change the game…They started off well by eliminating the need for a separate black box, but as you can see with their Gen2 release, that also comes with its limitations on improving what’s already available in their Gen 1 unit…

It will be interesting to see what Garmin & Lowrance come up with next, their new tech has likely been in the works for many years now and they’ve just been sitting on it waiting for a need to release it…they likely used that time to perfect the software…

It will be the 3rd best FFS option and not compatible with Helix.
