I have a terrova and I had the 360 transducer on it but if I want to mount it independently, as in not on the motor, is there a way to do it. Hummingbird told me they do not sell just the universal mount. I am thinking there has to be another solution. Thanks

I have mine mounted with a ram mount that attaches to the 360 with a hose clamp and the mid size ball on the other end. At the other end for support while stowed I have another ram with the claw end to easily release. I bought both at fishlectronics.

Do you have a pic of your setup by chance?

I too have a Terrova. I’ve ordered the 360 with a “universal “ mount that works independently from the trolling motor. I’d love to tell you how well it works but I’m still waiting for it. Ordered it before New Years.

Geiger Tech makes the universal mount for Hummingbird. They will sell you a mount.

If I had to do it again I would use the mount that fishing specialties sells. AS a matter of fact I probably will just buy that one next spring.
What I have found with the universal mount is it is a huge PITA to unscrew and rescrew the knobs every time you want to change fishing locations.

Tim and the geiger tec guys build a strong mount and you can buy direct online. I used a trolling motor stabilizer onnthe bottom end and it fits under the boat cover. They make a nice mega live ice conversion mount too. Sure there are a few good options out there.
