This dog is protected I guess. This contraption is supposed to thwart coyote and large birds of prey attacks on micro hounds. This dog would fit right in with some of our finer young adults that hang out at Mall of America.

Until your 2 year old tries to give his puppy a nice big hug.

HA, Tom, all you need is this shirt and then a little dog and this vest and you will be fully protected, stylin, and profilin!

I’ve had a couple of my beagles tore up by coyotes. Not the funnest thing to deal with. Vet bills, stitches and a drain tube for one, the other was just sore and tender.

That isn’t going to stop a predator.

Make fun all you want but I’ll bet the inventor of that contraption is laughing at all the fools who bought one on their way to the bank.

Exactly. It will take someone getting injured before they figure out that our ancestors drove away coyotes from society for a reason.

I’ve seen the other contraption advertised as well. I see coyotes in the park behind the house [the middle of Rochester proper] following the river occasionally in the winter. Wish I could load up the .45 cal muzzie and tenderize them. Right now I wish the wild mutts would reduce the rabbit population.

My friend had a mini dog . Earlier this fall it chased a chipmunk into the neighbors yard and the neighbors black lab desided to join in the chase, only it went for the bigger “chipmunk ” . Tore the intestines right out of his dog. I’m guessing he wished his dog had this coat on.

Had a serious rabbit issue two years ago. Literally would chew the 4 foot bushes to the ground in the winter. Shot and trapped several but didn’t seem to make a dent in the population. Then a bald eagle started hanging out in my trees, haven’t seen a rabbit since. Just fur on the ground.

Evan you pic shows a product that I used on the timbers of a restaurant called “Smokey Bones” they were called “Bird B Gone”. I just thought it was humorous that this came back to me after more than 15 years.

It did keep the birds from perching on the timbers and carping all over the logs and the patrons!
