Road to Hana is slow going, like 30 mph tops. Any sickness is probably from the sheer drop offs, the scary hairpins with on coming traffic or the night before. 
Mamas fish house is very expensive and I doubt you get in without reservations.. (everybody knows about the will call) 
For an more expensive meal, head down to Wailea, the 4 Seasons, The Grand Wailea or even Tommy Bahamas. You can get a decent meal for less than Mamas. I think I mentioned it, but the 5 Palms is good food too !
