Which qualifies him for the HOF if he was the best correct?

best singles hitter in baseball in his era. never aspired to do much more. poor leader, never could put the team on his back. i know feelings will get hurt but truth hurts

i watched him for over a decade and only like 2 years of it did i think he was great. the rest was average and boring. if that gets you HOF so be it. i don’t think he gets in and its my opinion so you do you

Would be nice to have him now except for the price tag-w/o a homerun hitter he just stood there at first, ’till the side was retired. Now all we have is HR hitters, we had seasons with good run production & bad pitching, hard for the twins to put it all together.

Eyeguy 507 what you said is so true. He learned to play like that by his grandpa. To hit singles for average, don’t say much so you get blamed for anything and play for yourself, so you make the HOF.
Ive watched him since he’s been in junior high.
