I’m rooting for Rory. I’d like to see him get the career grand slam.

It would also be fun to see an old guy like Keegan Bradley or Lucas glover make a run at it.

My favorite golf event of the year by far. Would love to see Rory get a win. Actually going to hit the golf course for the 1st outing of the year after work today. That first Tee shot should be interesting. Have not swung a club since late last fall. I was hoping to go hit a bucket of golf balls yesterday after work but something came up and could not make it. Anyone on Blackberry Ridge golf course After 4:50 better have their head on a swivel, no telling where some of my shots may be going

Morikawa is also someone to watch out for. Would love to attend this event some day. Golf tournaments are actually a lot of fun and cant wait for the Ryder Cup to come back.

It’s certainly the crown jewel of the sport. My dad was on a business trip in Georgia in the 90’s and decided to try to visit the course. He pulled in the parking lot and was immediately met by security. They warned him it’s no trespassing and members only and the old man went on a long winded rant of how he was on business and he may never be back in this area of the country and I’ve always wanted to take a look at the course. Security told him to wait in his car and they ran into the club house. One of them returned with a hat, a ball mark repair tool, a couple of golf balls and a ball marker. He still cherishes them all to this day.

I’ve had it on all day on my second monitor while doing some consulting work. Someone should do a study – I’m basically just following subconsciously, I briefly look over when they clap or maybe when Scheffler or Rory tee-off. But man, the aesthetic and sounds… it’s like working in a state of meditation. I’m getting SO much done today! LOVE the Masters and to say I’m even a casual golf fan would be a HUGE overstatement.

A friend of mine is a volunteer worker at the Masters. Has been for several years. He took his 10 year old grandson to Augusta last year and got a ton of autographs and Masters swag. His son was actually a year round employee at Augusta. His son died from a freak accident playing a pick-up game of basketball. Some of the pros and staff attended the funeral.

When I was in AIT I was stationed at Fort Gordon.. now Eisenhower, in Augusta. One day they had an off site detail they were looking for about a dozen volunteers… me and my buddy thought it might be good to get off base on a weekday, so we raised our hands. We were bused over to Augusta National and were told we would be policing the woods around the course. this usually meant picking up garbage and whatever else didn’t belong. Not at Augusta, there was NO GARBAGE.. we were picking up sticks and pine cones !!! The woods was immaculate around the place ! Anyways, that’s as close as I got. I want to get back someday and watch it in person, you cannot describe the beauty.

Funny I was also stationed at Fort Gordon doing AIT as well. Me and my room mate both from the same area (Osseo) had bikes and had them shipped to us. My brother worked in shipping so no problem. On a spring day I went for a ride and got caught up in a traffic jam. It was the Masters on a Saturday. I had no clue at the time what the hell the Masters even was at the time. Spent a lot of weekends up at Clarks Hill (Army swim area) that summer.

Rose is a great player and hasn’t won the masters, but I’m hoping Bryson DeChambeau pulls it off!

Another vote for Bryson. After watching some of his you tube stuff he’s more fun to watch and root for than some of the other guys. I’ll watch occasionally this weekend, but I won’t be glued to it unless there’s a dead heat in the final couple holes on Sunday.
