Is there a way to delete all your waypoints at once on Hummingbird or do you have to do them one at a time.

Lake I fish has recently been drawn down and I want to start new again.

    Thanks in advance

hit menu twice, navigate to the “nav” tab, go to waypoints, routes, tracks; go to options, select multiple and delete, then select the waypoints and or tracks you want to delete and delete the ones you selected.

this is off a helix though, not sure the prior generation units have this option

A factory/default reset would probably clean house fast for you.

Can you just delete all your waypoints and route lines for one lake only – and basically erase that Lake to start over… i.e. “Etcha-Sketch?” But just one Lake..?

You might try exporting ALL of your waypoints and route to a SD card.

Upload them into Humminbird PC (free PC program from Hummingbird Support Website).

Edit your waypoint and route list in HB PC. Much easier than in the head unit.

Delete ALL your waypoints and routes from the head unit.

Download the modified list back into the SD card.

Import the the new modified list into the cleaned head unit.

May sound more complicated than it really is. Once you have done the process once, it can go pretty quickly.

The upside of HB PC is that you can do it from the comfort of your home and you can look at the waypoints in Google Earth to make sure they are the ones you want to delete.

I mass delete a couple times each year, twice this year already.

    Menu 2x
    Nav tab
    Waypoints, routes, tracks
    Options
    Select all
    Delete.

I wipe mine out because I get too many.

When water level changes you can adjust your water level offset.
