Mary MILF (Man I Love to Fish) started off with a slow Friday until the last hour.
She pulled in a 3ish and an 8 pound channel and to top off the night just before heading in, a 21 pound flathead.
Turned out well considering how slow it was earlier.
Saturday I wanted to head out earlier then my normal trips. We left the dock at 4 pm. With in 5 minutes of the sucker hitting the bottom we had a flat on. It seemed a little lethargic for it’s size because there was very little drag pulled out. Either way, it looked like Mary had a blast pulling in this 37 pound flat.
After fishing that area for another hour without any bites, we moved up stream a bit. No flats but we boated another 11 channel cats. Love my Sudden Impact Fiber bait!
I hope Memorial Day weekend is nice to us weather wise.
Water temps were 61 at night and 67 at 4 pm Saturday.
See ya on the water!
