Hello! My memory has failed me again. What is the lower unit gear lube capacity on a 96 150hp Mariner? Time to service my boat for the year and I just cannot remember how much gear lube to buy. I appreciate your help.

Also, to those new to boating, the gearcase oil should ALWAYS be serviced BEFORE freezing temps in fall. Any water intrusion sitting over winter will destroy the case, don’t ask how I know doah

Simple misunderstanding in regards to the maintenance. She needs a new water pump but after going through the new motor rounds(with direction from Mr.iowaboy) she fired on a half pull. Reviews of those things are great and Clare the seller was a good dude who years ago was a part of the Smallmouth Alliance who helped initiate the regulations put in place for the upper miss Smallmouth populations. Told him many out there including myself are enjoying the fruits of that labor today!!
