Marine Surveyor

    My BIL is looking for a Marine Surveyor to inspect a 2019 Ranger Rt198.

    Long story short, boat was hit on the the stern, port side by a jet ski while it was parked at a dock late 2020. Amazingly no one seriously hurt but boat and motor suffered significant damage which was repaired.

    The boat has now developed a crack towards the front of the boat due to broken welds on the supports. Insurance company is saying poor workmanship, Ranger saying due to damage caused by the crash.

    He is looking for a recommendation(s) I thought this would be a good place to start. The initial estimate is 12-14k for repair. 😳🤮

    Call Georges Boat Repair (763) 434-5999 and see if they have the name of the guy in St. Paul. I had a boat done there and the insurance company sent a guy over, if I’m not mistaken he was from St. Paul.
