Was wondering if there are gonna be any interference with fishing my marcum next to a lowrance elite 4x chirp ice machine that I was gonna get for my younger brother ?

I’ve fished with at lx7 on one side and an fl18 on the other side of my elite 5 and the only interference I had was between the lx7 and fl18.

I wish I could comment, however I am unsure. The Marcum unit’s sonar is very powerful, so the comments in regards to fishing next to a Vexilar are accurate.

Even with having 2 of the same brands of flashers right next to each other there is always going to be interference, but it will be minimal. The good thing about the marcum is that it has the interference button that you can change, I’m sure you can find a frequency that allows both of the flashers to work. I’ve done it with my marcum vx1i with 2 other flashers being a few feet away from me and I got it to work.

I fish with my Lowrance elite 4x beside my Vexilar FL-12 and there is some interference on the Lowrance from the Vexilar. However there is no iterference that I have seen on the Vexilar. The interference on the Lowrance unit can be minimized if you play around with its setting a little.
Also the interference only showed up when they were fairly close together, within 6 feet of one another. After it was moved away there was no interference.

Something I forgot to add was if I put my vexilar on low power mode there was no interference between the two no matter how close together they were. The only disadvantage to this was my low power mode can only be used in less than 20ft of water.
