Since they don’t make a dual beam or even a narrow beam for it(bummer), I was wondering if anyone knows or has tried a Vexilar Transducer on it. Just wondering if a 12 degree Vex would work. I’m guessing not, that they have their differences. I have heard that the connection is the same though.
I like my VX-1, but some days wish I had some options other than my 20 degree. An LX-5 isn’t in the picture yet, so that isn’t an option!

I actually prefer the 20°. Fishing on 10 FOW . My flx28 did not mark most of the fish like my lx7 which I saw everything. I caught less fish because I didn’t mark, and they would apear/dissappear spontaneously. Some say the pro view ducer is great but IME I didn’t like it.
I would guess the other manufacturers transducers won’t work as the power levels are so different.
So I was able to try a buddies 12 degree Vex transducer the other day. The plug fit, but the ducer didn’t work. Didn’t even click. Guess now I know.
