Does anyone have a “home remedy” for charging the battery on a Marcum vs385? It seems I’ve misplaced the charger that came with the camera. One of two things happened. 1. I put the charger in a place where I said I would never forget…and subsequently forgot where. Or,
    2. I left it out and the wife put it in a place that makes perfect sense to her, yet has no recollection of even seeing it. If it is #2, she has no recollection because she has no clue what I am describing what it looks like. More than likely, #1. In any case, is there a way to charge the battery? I don’t believe a regular boat battery charger would do it. I’m less than novice on batteries. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

Jim – I was looking for a 12v Charger for my Ice fishing use as well as something to maintain the batteries for my girls ride on vehicles.

At first everything and everyone pointed me to a Schumacher charger, but the Stanleys actually have much better reviews.

Not cheap at $39, but I bought this and it is great. Its automatic, will go into charge/float/mode. Might be a little annoying to have to put big clips on your battery but for me this is nice because I probably have 6 12v Batteries at any time I need to keep charged up.
