Bought mine at he Ice Institute in Sioux Falls. Took in home and put on the charger, the light turned green and said 100% charge. I figured it was charged to 100%, but it went to 60% within 60 minutes of fishing and 30% in about 90 minutes and then powered down my LX6. Luckily I had an LX5 backup. My question is–Why is the charger going to green, if the battery isn’t truly at 100%. I charged for 6 hours, but haven’t had a chance to try again. The charger is suppose to completely charge the shuttle in 3-4 hours according to the manual.

    Thanks

Call Marcum Technologies and run this by customer service. What you’re experiencing is nothing like what I’ve been seeing from run times.

Thanks James. I tried registering the shuttle when I bought it, but there is no serial number on the shuttle. The bucket that it came with has a upc stamp on it, but that isn’t the serial number either. Do you have a contact number so I can submit a warranty claim? I can’t submit one until the product in registered.
    Thanks

The number I call is the customer service number listed online.

I had a similar issue with the shuttle I purchased, it initially charged up in about 3-4 hours. I hooked up to a vexilar and went out on a local lake a day or two later and it was dead, My fault, I should have checked the charge before I went out. When I got home I tried to charge it but to no avail.., so I returned it for another and the new one works great, I’ve used it twice now and plan to spend new years on the ice with it. I think its just a first batch hick-up…
