    First trip on the ice this year turned my m1 flasher on and it won’t mark bottom no or anything no matter how much I adjust the gain any suggestions on what the problem could be

    Make sure you are using the proper Depth Range for the water that you are fishing. Try different depth ranges until you start to mark the bottom.
    Also the obvious, check your connection at the back of the unit.

    Everything is connected and didn’t fix anything trying those options

    How about your battery. Is it fully charged ?
    One other thing to try is having your transducer at or below the bottom of the ice.

    How about your Zoom. Shut your unit off, then turn back on. This way your zoom will be off.

    Is the transducer cable connected to the head unit? It could be loose. They aren’t in there very well to begin with, in my opinion.

    Found out that the battery was faulty charger said it was fully charged but when I took the battery out it had purple liquid all over the strap and when I connected it to the wall charger and turned on all worked fine, ordered a new battery thanks for all the help

    Check that fuse, too. Mine was bad, so it wasn’t actually charging the battery.
