Marcum M-Series Flashers – how did they hold up

    Did anyone use a new M-Series last year? Just wondering how the new Marcum Brushless Flashers worked since last year was the first year out. Are they quieter and crisper, not that Marcums are really that noisey to begin with. Any issues with the motor on these, aka bottom jumping like the old ones?

    I had no issues with mine! My M5 was great all year. The only reason I did sell it for a LX7 is my almost 5 year old told me he liked the LX7 better.

    Zero issues with My M5 last winter; had it on the ice 32 different days plus used it a handful of times vertical jigging perch and bluegill out of the boat.

    Great question to pose.

    Also curious what the battery life was like with the M units – same/better/worse etc.

    Display was tough to see in bright sunlight for me.

    No issues with mine last winter and battery life will be the same.
