Gotta raise funds for the last $2000 payment on an ATV and trailer I bought. Plus, I’m in between contracts for work and have no funds to spare…BUT the fishing MUST continue! I start a new contract at Honeywell on Monday so my total time off has only been 2 weeks. Not too bad but I miss the paycheck none the less.

Hah, I used to believe in 6 months of savings, but then I started fishing. Blew it all in 3 months. lol (or less). I keep waiting for the time I have everything I need for fishing so I can stop buying things but then @jamesholst and crew keeps showing me other toys that I “need” in order to be just like them. (What, you mean if I have all the gear they have, I still might not be as good?)

    A disease I tell you!

While I agree the idea of this is cool, can you imagine some moron doing this at a busy ramp? His boat just floating by itself in front of the landing in the way of everybody else while he parks his truck and walks back to the ramp…I wonder if there are any rules around leaving an unattended boat in the water?

While I don’t have the auto stow and deploy, I use my I-pilot to drive the boat away from the boat dock and spot lock when loading by myself all the time. It’s actually a great way to launch and load at a busy ramp when alone because you don’t need to take up a space at the dock when you go to get your truck. Just make sure you “drive” it far enough away from the dock and off to the side where it’s not in the way of other boats. Works great!

I would like to see him do that down here on the Mississippi River in Illinois. With the current down here that boat would be way down river in a heart beat.
