Marcum Lx5 vs Lx5i

    Looking to get a marcum to upgrade my humminbird. Curious what the difference in the lx5 vs lx5i is?

    From my understanding the only difference is the new front face of the unit, other than that all the specs are the same.

    I’ve used both. Only difference was the display is bigger on the lx5i

    Don’t know as I’m sold on flat screens due to sunlight washing them out. My fl22 can be hard to view sometimes my LX5 usually not.

    Straight from Marcum FAQ…

    ” WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LX-5 AND THE LX-5I?
    We have updated all of our flashers, including the VX-1 series, the LX-3 series, and the LX-5. “The “i” systems have a bold new look that improves viewability and minimizes moisture buildup. The performance specifications have not changed on any of the flashers”
