Marcum LX-6 base/battery tray?

Will the base/battery tray for the Marcum LX-6 accommodate a 12v 12Ah battery (L 5.94” W 3.86” H 3.86”)?

Also what type of run time are you getting with the 9Ah battery?

Thanks! I’ve been using a Lowrance Elite 4, and just purchased a 4-pack of 12ah batteries. Thinking about moving to the LX-6, and wanted to make sure that I could still use the batteries with the case.

What 12Ah batteries are you using with the Elite 4 now? I’m getting a head start on piecing my gear together for this season

I’m not sure the wider 12AH battery will fit in the recess hole on the LX6. I have the battery from mine next to me and its only 2.5″ wide and I don’t think there’s that much extra space. But it probably will fit on there it just wont set down in the recess hole. I have fished 8-10 hour plus days with my LX6 with the standard 9AH battery and never had an issue.
