Marcum LX-5 question

    I recently purchased my LX-5, and I LOVE it, it has definitely made it easier to find fish and locate structure. One issue I’ve had with it, and it may just be operator error is with the gain knob. The gain knob on my unit does NOT have an upper limit that stops you from turning the knob, as well as a lower limit that stops you from turning the knob at 0….it just spins on its axis infinitely, so I have no idea if my gain is at 0 or 10. The unit is working just fine, I am just wondering if the gain knob is normal, or if I should be sending it to Marcum for a warranty issue???

    Mine does not spin, it stops.

    My LX5 has a 1/16th allen screw on the side opposite the directional slash. Might be you just have to tighten it up. Sometimes little things get overlooked.
