I know that if you put a LI battery on any electronics the battery indicator won’t work correctly because of the differences in how voltage changes on SLA vs lithium and will read at or near 100% until right before it dies. How does the indicator on the Marcum shuttle work? I assume it measures something differently so that it actually gives you an idea of your remaining charge.
Is there something similar that can be used with other lithium batteries? I understand that running lithium batteries dead is really hard on them so it would be nice to have something telling what the battery status was.
