    Just wanted to give a shout out to Marcum customer service. My LX7 got some water behind the screen and then my transducer wouldn’t pick up the bottom. My ducer got pinched in between the transducer arm and the rubber cut, exposing the actual wires. Probably my fault.

    Long story short, Marcum replaced my face plate on the LX7, replaced the electronic components inside the unit, and replaced the transducer. All free of charge.

    I use my equipment quite a bit and it takes a beating. I have used their Customer Service three different times and each time they have come through like a champ.

    When I talk to them, I always offer a solution and they seem to be more receptive to any issues. I think that’s the key with some of customer service things, treat them with respect and they are much more likely to help!

    I know at times Marcum takes heat for various reasons, but I have been very happy with their customer service and they’ve treated me well over the years.

    I wish that worked with the internet provider last week. I did every test their ‘mechanic’ would do to verify my “no internet” problem. Then clearly explained that the problem is the internet is not coming to the house based on the testing.

    Still had to be home from 8-12 grrr.

    Boy was I surprised when it was confirmed to be their problem )

    Marcum is waaaaaaay better though!!
