My local scheels is having big deals on both units. I have the Brute (10AH LiFe Po4) and have been pleased with it. The Marcum Force is 12AH lithium ion. Does anyone have comparisons or preferences between the two?

Have 2 brutes and a force (probably last year’s sale :)) Force is negligibly lighter, was able to pull 14 hours on my Helix 8. Get about 12-13 on the Brute. Haven’t really had them long enough for a longevity comparison. Was told to be more careful with the Force as far as knocking around and proper charging as they’re more finicky I guess?

I was one of those lucky guys 
This will be my third(?) season I believe on them, I have three, two in the kid’s Vexilars and one in my wife’s Bird 45.
It’s nice going on a multi-day trip and not having to charge them when using low draw units like flashers.
Obviously with a screen unit like a Helix 7 or Garmin you’ll want to top them off every night if you’re using them all day.
Keeping a eye on this one as I’m looking at picking up one as well.
