I’ve been googling a little with no success thus far. Does anyone know of a site that would have maps of CRP-enrolled land?

As of about 5 years ago, they didn’t make it easy. This is a bit of a touchy area because many producers consider this information to be part of their private business and are not fans of making easily accessible to the public the details of how much money they are collecting from the government.

The last I heard, there were public data sets available that contained enrollment data. The datasets were large and they didn’t exactly go out of their way to advertise exactly what was contained in each.

Then you need to load these into a compatible GIS viewer, AFAIK the easy-to-use ones must be purchased, the “freeware” ones required significant technical knowledge to use. You may also have to have access to a separate data ETL tool to reformat the dataset before loading so you get it into a compatible format, this can require significant computing power.

Obviously, all of this may have changed and for all I know you can now do it with Google Earth, but I’d think you’d have found it by now if there were an easy way.

If you find anything it is not recent. Due to federal privacy laws CRP contracts/maps are not public information.

State RIM boundaries are publicly available online if that helps? Just remember even though the state has a permanent conservation easement on the land it is still privately owned. Pm me if you have more questions.

Why do you want to know crp?

It requires permission unless it is already a WIA.

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for. But one resource that I’ve used are County Farm Offices. They have maintained for years aerial photos with plat map overlays. I could tell from the plat map info smaller plots owned by large land trusts.

Now days (I haven’t looked in several years) I believe there’s several free online GIS services that show property boundaries that can be matched up to Google Earth images.

If nothing else, this will show you who to talk to about accessing hot spots for hunting, fishing, gold panning etc.
