Just started mapping the Ohio River with insight Genisis. I have recorded 8 trips so far and the Maps are so much better than any map that I have ever seen of the river. I have been fishing this stretch of river for 35 years and I am seeing things that I never knew were there. If the river would just drop a little more I could go try some of the new spots that I found.
That is a really awesome mapping tool. I think that with the vegetation view and bottom composition, it makes it by far the most useful and productive mapping tool on the market. The only feature that I could not find that would make it even better, was the 3D mapping. It might be available for the premier members, but I am not sure. There was a post a while back that featured a 3D lake map tool, and it was really fun to play around with, but I do not rememeber the name of it.
