I am always looking for information about rain or snowfall totals for places I am going to. Most times my destination is not near an “official” weather data collection site.
In another post IceNEyes1986 provided this link. Looks like a good candidate for me to use.

Not a map but this is pretty decent
There is a map option on cocorahs. Or filter the charts by county. It is all volunteer collection, yet accurate, and a great resource. What I use to check rainfall.
