so i have a new helix 5 chirp gps G2. I encrypted the card in the unit and it said it was successful. I downloaded lake Seminole and the smartstrike layer to my PC. I can see the files on my SD card in my PC. From there i have no idea how to access the map on my hummingbird unit. I go into chartview and hit the checkmark button but it just beeps. what am i missing?
Are the files in any folder on the SD card? The files have to be on the SD direct.
Not sure if these replys are posting, I can’t see them. the card does contain files. i’m attaching a pic of the files.

It looks to me like all the 12/23 files are all still in the folder. Are the old dated files extracted from the folder? Start over with a blank SD card and only copy over the files or extracted files from the platform folder.
You might need to update the Helix to the latest software version. Even if it’s a new unit, it might have been shipped with an incompatible version. Instuctions below, follow them carefully.

@superdave1959, there are files on the SD card. when I click on the chart select file on the card there is a platforms folder as well as a chart select file along with several others. when I click on the chat select file it asks me to log in to my account. Im assuming all of that is correct? attaching a pic of the files on the card.

What happens when you click on the platform folder? Are the same files in the folder that are outside the folder? The decade old dates on the files outside the folder is what is throwing me.
