I would put in FRP panels 8′ high behind anything that will get wet. Easy to clean and won’t allow the wall behind it to get wet and mold.

True, i know they make plastic ones for wall corners, just thought the metal one would hold up a little better.
Lol one of them looks like he might make a good supervisor!
for sure!!!
looks like he’ll fit into the union just fine.
Hey now!
He was patiently waiting for his turn, I wasn’t about to let a pair of fourth grade apprentices go wild on $500 worth of cabinets at the same time
I was the union supervisor…with a cold Coors in my hand
My redneck solution for drainage, I mitered a piece of HDPE for a corner deflector and used some steel I had laying around to roll the water into the sink. All sealed with clear waterproof Gorilla goop.
(The cut edges are sanded flat and as dull as a butter knife)
I bought some of the lights in the picture to mount under the shelf over the counter top/sink.
Those baby’s are too bright for how close they are, going to put them somewhere else and pick up something half or a third the lumens for under the shelf.
Also finished the plumbing today, installed a hands-free gas pedal under the sink and a hot water washdown on the far end of the counter. I pitched the counter hard and heavy towards the wall and sink, works titties!
looks like a top notch Union job!!!! right EPG!!!!
looks great!!!!!!!!
Looks good B-man! Is that where you are going to clean up your wolves?
That setup looks like it will work real nice!
Just curious, is the “gas-pedal” there just to keep the pressure off the nozzle since those rarely seal well and always drip? Do can you lock the pedal into the “ON” position if you need to move around with the hose a little?

It’s plumbed to the sink faucet. It’s so you can give dirty hands a rinse without getting knobs bloody.
I have the pedal plumbed to the cold side (since it takes some time to get hot water to the sink anyway). Then the hot water at the sink is hand operated, and the washdown is hand/hot as well. Under the cabinet I installed a 1/4 turn ball valve if the garden nozzle ever starts dripping or needs replacement.

Awesome explanation. Now I get it. Great idea for hands-free sink control when you you’re hands are full blood and stank!
