medium to small browns are hard to determine if male or female.

Lets hear your best educated guess on gender of these four and why?

The upper right fish has a different shaped gill plate, but the left side 2 fish have a smaller mouth.

I’m going to ignore the gill plate and say both left side fish are female and the rest are male.

Only appreciable difference I can really see is the top right has more of an elongated face/mouth. Which sex has more of a long face, hmmm, depends if trout can marry or not…

Top right male, rest female. Hard to tell entirely by the profile shot. A quarterd view is easier to tell on most trout

It is all about the kype. I can’t really tell on the lower left, and upper right photos. The upper left does not have a kype for sure. The lower right certainly has one. The other two are up in the air for me. If I had to guess, the two lower photos are male, and the two upper photos are female.
