I’ve coached with Coach Parker for 6-7 years, boys and girls varsity basketball…We’ve had a lot of good times and fun memories over the years on the hardwood, and we decided to try and have some good times out on the ice as well! He loves fishing, so sort of strange it took me this long to get some lines out with him.
We went during a terrible time, middle of the day and not a cloud in the sky but we still managed a handful of fish. We also doubled up in quite a ridiculous fashion battling through two tangled lines and still keeping the fish on….Marked A LOT of fish but most were very finicky. What got the bites were loud jigs with micro soft plastics. Got one on the Roadside minnow baby guppy (pink/chartreuse tail) and the rest on the transparent pink nano fry.
We had a game the prior night so we weren’t feeling like getting up early lol. Now we have a big game tomorrow for the league title…Not fishing related but wish us luck😀
