    Ditto. Too much work. I guess if you have time for that type of thing and/or enjoy it, fine.

    Cool video. The only thing that I would do different is use a split ring to put the hook on instead of cutting it. When lures are all $30+ each, I will have to try this.

    I thought that about the split ring also. The rising cost is becoming expensive already!

    Catching fish on lures you make is very rewarding for me.
    I make all my own jigs and plastics and most of my own ice jigs.

    It can save you money, but like everything else once get addicted to it, it costs way more than you would think.

    It’s great to have baits that catch fish that others can’t even buy.
