MAGS Custom Ice Rods

Hi all,

Just wondering your thoughts on MAGS custom rods, specifically the carbon blanks. I am looking at picking one up but just wanted to know thoughts from people who have experience with them. They seem like a great rod.

My bro swears by them. He actually just picked up one of their custom rods for lake trout at the iceshow.

He’s had a lot of the expensive, custom ones like Thorne Bros too.

All his rods are Mags now.

For $100 bucks I considered getting a lake trout rod too but can’t justify a new rod for a once a year trip.

Met these guys at the sioux falls show. Great bunch of dudes. From what I could tell their rods were the same quality as any of the others. TUCR, DH, Thorne, JT Etc. Ive never fished with one but they will get the job done for sure.

I just picked up one of their power noodles awhile back.I got to try it out last weekend,i like it.
I know it’s not carbon but quality of there work looks good.
