M1 Flasher problem

I have an m1 flasher that I bought 2 years ago. Late last winter it started to have some issues and have continued to this winter. I would get it set up and run it for a while with no problems. After a little while, it would stop reading bottom and everything else. All that is on the screen is what would be the bottom of the ice. Swapped transducer and batter onto another marcum and those work fine. I can also hear the motor spinning. What is the issue?

IMO dump it and go with a Vexilar. Just saying I have never had a problem with them.

Not sure where you are located but Marcum is in New Hope MN. I’ve been there a couple times over the last 15 year and very quick turn around.

Not sure what your issue is, but a while back I had an LX3 and after it ran for a while and something inside heated up it did the same thing. Had to send it back to them 3 times before they finally got it figured out. If you have to send it in or drop it off, make sure you tell them that it takes a while for the problem to start then they should be able to fix it first time.
