My outfitter for Northern Manitoba just stopped in for an Oil change and he said the lake we fly out of, is tight to shore with 3 feet of ice yet 
We leave in 35 days (but who’s counting) and he said, I am sure the ice will be off, there just might be some chunks to navigate…
