I’m new to Ice fishing. Recently went out with my son and used our new LX7 and LX6 for the 1st time. I seemed to have a lot of interference issues. I played with e Sen,IR,and target adjust but could not really clear it up. When one of us fished out of the shelter it worked great. We are fishing out of a Otter XT1200 Lodge (lots of room) and we were in 15 to 28 FOW most of the day. Are there some general settings that you guys could steer me in the direction of when we are fishing side by side in the otter? Thanks

Smaller cone angle and less sensitivity are the first 2 I’d try.

I fish out of a 1200 cabin and occasionally a lodge and never had a problem with 2 7’s side by side. I always make sure both transducers are as far away from each other as possible and the sensitivity on both are never above 2. IR is usually best around 4-5 on mine. I only adjust one unit until it clears up if there’s any when I drill the holes a little close otherwise I have none.

My buddy and I both have LX7’s and fish together often, we adjust IR etc. etc. and never fully eliminate the interference. Just something we have learned to deal with. Same thing with my bro’s Showdown, though not as bad.

Next time try adjusting one unit only. Raise or lower the transducer, and adjust the ping speed.
