Curious I purchased a Lx7 new this year and still trying to figured out all the settings. But one thing I have noticed and was wondering is why does my depth always show in a whole number. Even when I adjust my transducer it still rounds to the whole number. I dont know if it’s a setting issue or I keep moving my ducer just enough to change to the different depth. I have shown 9.9 once other then that is always a whole number. My lx7 was built in November of this year.

Maybe it shows tenths only in less than 10’?

I personally don’t think having tenths of a foot is going to matter at all. It’s all relative to how deep your ducer is anyway.

You could be right. I like having the tenths when I working on a gradual breaks finding the top and bottoms. I was fishing a sand flat and it was .5 to .8 depth hole about 12′ x 15′ that perch and eyes love. I had to rely on my brothers Fl8 he had since high school to find the spot since we have no mapping on this small lake. Listening to how his vex which sounds like 747 taking off is better than my lx7.

They only read in tenths under 10 feet. But they show graduation marks between the foot numbers on the screen. Just make a mental note of which mark the bottom was by in each hole you’re checking.

I never found the whole numbers to be an issue.
