LX7 Back light question

I have been using my LX7 for 3 years now and love it! Adding the Shuttle this year was the best idea I ever had. Only issue I have is on Sunny days fishing outside. This past Saturday I fished outside and it was very sunny. I turned the Back light all the way to 100%. Is there any other display options I can be doing for the best screen clarity on those sunny days? Thanks!!

try changing your background color, this seems to help me. I was out this weekend and had my background color on blue and backlight at 35% wearing polarized sunglasses. Also try to keep the back of the unit towards the sun helps as well, but not always easy to do if you want to keep your back to wind too.

I have also heard of some guys putting some 3M anti glare film on their screens (You can cut it to size for cell phones and tablets, ect..) and having some good luck with that to help cut down on glare.

That is what I did and it really helped.

I like using the black screen. I think that even the glare off of the snow on a sunny day can be a problem so I will try to block that with my sled seems to help some.

Ill give the Anti glare stuff a try. I like the Black Background the best. When I was out on Saturday I had the sun on the back of the unit. Don’t get me wrong I could see it, just not as bright as I would have liked on the Sunny day. Cloudy its plenty bright.

*3 on the Black screen. I think it really helps lessen eye strain.
