Well I bought an LX3tc 2 years ago and it had the bottom movie up and down a foot or so all the time, I was told it was a motor issue so I sent it back to Marcum and they fixed it in the middle of fishing season and sent it back. We’ll less than a year later and my unit is still doing the same thing. Now it’s out of warranty and the problem was never fixed. What should I do?

I had a lx5 that I loved it did the same thing… They fixed it for me then the next trip out it did it again. Making it unusable to me. I was bummed. Not sure what you should do next. I got the lx7 with zero issues for about 3 years now. That said I really liked the lx5.

In fed up with it and now just want to get the lx6, that being said I can’t afford to just go out and buy it, college is expensive and I would have to sell this one. Long story short I’d like to get 2 more years out of this one but it’s upsetting that it’s happening all the time.

Have you contacted Marcum directly again? That’s where I would start. They may take care of it.
