Anyone hear if Marcum will actually do this yet? Pretty hard to shake off every time they “miss a winter” and “run out of time” because of not enough ice to test, etc., etc.
Some of you I’m thinking will be ice fishing in 12-15 weeks.
it’s going on 3+ years (1/20/2014) now since the last LX-9 update…I’ve posted the question on Marcum’s Facebook page and even called and asked their techs, never get an answer… Talk about great customer support for those of us who purchased the most expensive flasher/camera system on the market (at the time)
If you go on their website, they still use the “Frequent Software Updates” selling point for the digital series units…3+ years between updates is frequent?
I am thinking about selling my LX-9 since I fish mostly in shallow water 3 to 15 ft. Buddy has LX-7 and does a better job with the software update. I really like the LX-9 but Marcum is not supporting it so I am having a hard time wanting to purchase another Marcum.
