LX-7 issue with bottom flashing

    I just picked up an LX-7 and when fishing in 13 ft of water, it will flash up to 12ft and then back to 13.

    Very distracting especially when fish are on the bottom. Is it possibly the Dynamic Range? Or something broken?

    Might be the motor – I’d get in touch with Marcum, or if its new return it and get a different one.

    Change the mode to manual dynamic. There were people complaining about that when they first came out. I have always run mine in manual dynamic and have never had that issue.

    Thanks, I thought that I remembered it being a possible setting.
