    With the stock battery I could usually eek out 8 hours on a charge.

    I’ve upgraded to the lithium ion version so now I get about twice that on a charge.

    You can get a second lead acid battery for less than $30 and charge it up as a spare if you need.

    That’s exactly what I needed I got one coming in the mail just wasn’t sure if I should buy a second.. My showdown would last all day and well into the next no problem thanks

    Are you using a different charger for the lithium ion?

    Yes. I bought the Ice Force lithium battery and the charger that goes with it.
    The Rapala site had a special on the combo earlier in the winter.
