When having the flasher mode only on can you use zoom like on the LX-5? I have been running the LX-5 the last 7 years and really like the zoom with the super fine line feature. Thinking about going to the 6 but would really miss that feature. Not a fan of the vertical bars.
I dont believe you can but this is my first season with my lx-6s. Honestly I have grown to really like the vertical zoom. It seems cleaner, just a personal preference though.
Must be the same way on the LX-7 also? I just think I would miss that feature.
my buddy also has an lx6 and really enjoys the full dial and then the vertical zoom.
Does anyone else that went from a LX-5 to a 6 or a 7 miss the zoom feature?
I miss the beeping for dialing the zoom down, but never the dial. 
4 buck. The zoom on the 6 and 7 are infinitely adjustable they are just in a separate vertical window off to the side. It is far nicer and easier to see than on the 5. I haved owned multiple of both and this is definitely the nicer zoom.
I really like using the graph mode for my zoom. I keep the flasher dial on and then zoom with the graph.
Lots like the vertical zoom but I like the history of the graph. It’s very easy to see if a fish is rising or falling in relation to your bait.
