Lund Boat Cover Snaps

Has anyone broken the snap rivets on their boat cover? A number of them started to rip apart on my ’05 Lund Pro Angler. While I’m asking that… does anyone have a source for replacements? I tried to fix them with a pair of needle-nose pliers, but that solution holds up only briefly.

Any custom boat cover shop can replace the snaps. I’ve had them done for nothing and had to pay $1.00 each for others.
It goes real fast. Good luck.

I’ve found replacements at Mills Fleet Farm. On my second pack in 7 years.

I believe ACE hardware is where I got mine

Plus they had a tool that slips on a visegrip to install

    worked great

My 05 pro angler cover does the same. Local dealership will fix it

1850 tyee magnum. Have replaced most of the snaps on my Lund cover at least a couple of times. Most of the replacement snaps I can locate seem to be made in China. Would like to find heavy duty US made snap heads with a longer shank and small washers that would increase and strengthen the joint between the snap head and the snap….if that makes any sense.

Your best bet will probly be to ask what the cover repair/making places can get or use.

Ask if they will warranty what they sell?

I bought a snap kit from Overtons(snaps, pliers etc)and it paid for itself in no time.
