Those of you that have switched from 24v to 36v, Did you have room or a spot for the 4th battery or did you improvise?
I have a Tyee, that has no room for a 4th battery, but would like to go to 36v!? Where is your 4th battery?

I put my “overflow” battery into the storage compartment on the left side up front, against the passenger console wall. To minimize, or eliminate the chance of acid spilling into that area I bought the Cabelas Group 31 AGM battery for this location. My cables follow the boat contour and connections are spliced up front near the plug in.

My Tyee has room in the floor (inbetween the consoles). I have room for 5 batteries and an onboard chargers. Crank batteries in the aft. Mine is 10 years old and I have an I/O.

I am going to 36 volt now (Minn Kota Terrova US2/IP) and will place my 3rd trolling batery in-between the consoles and still store excess ropes in there as I have always. I’m using Optimas for all 4 needed bateries.
