I’m hoping someone can shed some light on replacing a worn out livewell recirc pump that is on my 2003 Lund Angler SS 1700. I assume the recirc pump is different from the livewell fill pump that is located in the back of the boat. Is the recirc pump on the side of the livewell by the screen? For the life of me I can’t figure out how to access it. Has anyone replaced their recirc pump on a Lund Angler?
The pump looks to be below the console of the boat with no access or did they mount them somewhere else like by the gas tank?
    Thanks in advance!

do you have a manual valve on the console that you switch from fill, recir and drain? then one pump does it all for each livewell. if you have 2 electric switches on the dash for each livewell , one for fill and one for recir. then you most likley have 2 pumps. i dont have an angler so I cant be more help. My 2000 pike is one pump and a manual valve with one on-off electric switch on dash for each livewell

I have 2 rocker switches on the dash thus probably 2 pumps. There is a small access about as big as your hand to reach in there so I assume you remove the collar and the pump / wiring / tubing come with. I want to get more info before I dive into it.

Isn’t it the same pump – and you’re selecting to either fill or recirc with the dial switch (fill/empty/recirc)? Other pump is probably bilge?

Look in the access in the back of the boat, most likely in the battery compartment. You will have to tack the battery out and with a flashlight, you will see the bilge pump and live well pump/pumps, if you have two livewells. All you have to do is replace the pump cartridge, 1\4 turn and unplug the wires and replace. Real easy to do, 2 on the scale from 1-5

Thanks….got it done on Sunday…what a job. My recirc pump is separate from my fill pump (kinda nice if one goes out the other is still operational. You have to access the pump which is located on the side of the livewell through a front storage compartment…in the front storage compartment is a small 5″ dia hole to put your hand through to get at the pump. Took a while but I’m now back in business.
