Thought it would be fun to see some more boat photos. I’ll start with mine:
2012 Pro V 1775 that I bought at Hoots last spring

2012 Pro V 1775 that I bought at Hoots last spring
2011 Lund 2010 Pro Guide with a 175 V-rod. Spends waaaaay too much time in the shed this time of year….
1994 Explorer 1600, 2005 Mercury EFI 40hp. My first boat bought used in March. Put a lot of work into the old rig this year but its been well worth it.
2012 1875 ProV with 200 Vrod and 9.9 4stroke. Movin’ up to Lake Nebagamon, Wi. next month.

Love that color. That’s what my next one will be if I can ever afford to go bigger.
Jim, how’d you manage to get that trailer with an 1875? I thought they only had single axle until you got up to the 1975.
You can get the dual axel with brakes and swing tongue. I would personally recommend this with the 1875. The 1875 is a big boat to be trailering around.
Does that increase your total storage length then? I have to be able to fit in my garage and I can only get maybe 16-20″ more than my 1775
It should not. Just make sure that when you order the trailer that the swing tongue breaks just in front of the winch stand. I have a 24 ft. garage and my 2004 1900 Pro-v fit in it with about 4 inches to spare.
Here’s mine. 1982 Pike 18′. I bought it used from a friend for $3500. Best money I have ever spent. I have had her for 19 years.
New to us this year, 2006 Lund Explorer 1700 w/Merc 115 4-Stroke (30hrs). Moved up from a 1972 Lund 14ft Center console, 55hp Johnson 50th anniv, which server us great for many years. Loved the 72, but not looking back after enjoying the new Lund. Great boats!

Now that is a good looking tin boat.
My first Lund. Owned for 2 years before I traded up for more space for my off-spring. 1625 Rebel XL w/ 50 2/S Merc. Motor ran like a turd and I’m much happier with my 4/S.
Really i loved my little 2 stroke merc‘s. If you follow the startup procedure and change the plugs every year they run like a clock.

Mine was a turd from the get-go. Picked it up brand new from the dealer and couldn’t get it to start out at the lake. My friend with me had the same motor on his Tracker and he couldn’t get it to start either. I changed the plugs and that didn’t help. Once it was warm it started up fine, but at the boat ramp it was stressful. I started it exactly how the manual said to.
It made my decision easy when I added boy #3 to my family to just go get a bigger boat and I’m much happier with what I’ve got now.
My 97 Merc 40 above starts and runs like a champ. Troll all day without a problem and plenty of torque to get out of the hole.

This was most likely caused by a improper setting of the idle mixture screw from the dealer when it was new. The dealer should have set the idle mixture screw(carb models). Some four strokes are hard to start too, but with a few turns of the screw they run fine. Been their and it can be frustrating.
2001 Lund pro sport with a 90 Merc 4str. Just bought it in June.
Haven’t gotten it out much, but definitely have enjoyed it when I have so far. Upgrading from my tracker outside of the dryer ride I found the handling to be the biggest change I noticed. As my wife put it she handles ‘scary’ good while on plane.
