tilt motor

    I have a 1988 Lund with a 1973 Evenrude 115 hp motor the tilt motor works sometimes other times i can get it to work if i tap on on it any suggestions?

    Sounds as if the tilt motor has worn out brushes that need to be replaced.

    Service your tilt motor as soon as possible because it may give you more problems in the future.
