I have a new lund boat cover on my Tyee. Does anyone else been having problems with water running in on the front of the cover by the bow? Water must be running in by them twist snaps and running down in my bow compartments in the floor.

Any thoughts on how I can prevent this.

    Thanks
    Chad

Is it a store bought/factory cover or a custom made one? If its custom bring it back and have them figure it out.

It was a new 2012 factory custom cover right from Lund. Came on the boat when I purchased it last fall.

You could take it to a canvas cover shop and have them add on a bow section to it.

Just crank your tongue way down so it cant run back into your boat.

If its a new cover on a new boat bring it back into the dealer, a good dealer should get you squared away!

The cover that you are using I’m guessing only covers the bow and would snap near to the base of the windshield and come up under the walk-thru shield and snaps on the inside?

These are for while out on the water and not for overnight or long term storage.

If I’m right you should get a “mooring or travel” cover as well. The one I think you are describing works while in bad weather and you are on the water. Usually for me that means “Big Water” in climate weather.

Mine was doing the same thing, but I bought a $10 boat cover support pole and made a short pole out of it and put it under the cover right behind the front bow platform to hold the cover up. I have not had an issue since.

My lund 1775 pro v came with the correct cover, I have the single console, you have to remove the windshield for traveling, but it has extra cloth in the area the windshield is, actually all the way across to cover a dual console boat.
