    I’am thinking about putting railings on my 1790T skeeter to attach the rod holders.I can get 30and 60 inch ones from sketter.what would be the best

    60 would be ideal. You can have plenty of room for two on each. The big thing is when you turn one rod holder to face the back of the boat, you don’t want the butt end of the rod too close to the other rod in the other holder.

    for my personal boats i go to hannays and buy SS HEAVY tube stock and bend it myself. Make sure you get HEAVY fittings also, then SS BOLT thru hull and back with reinforcing SYNTHETIC board and SS FENDER WASHERS.

    good luck and the boat WILL be MUCH safer with the rails, IMHO.

    As someone who has rails and tracks on his Skeeter I would suggest you consider tracks as well. You can order the rails from Skeeter of that’s what you want. The longer the better. Get the 60″ers if you decide on rails.
